Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize an electrical connection test between both external panels set on both sides of a memory card without scratching the surface of the card by adding the connection plates to both external panels. CONSTITUTION:When a memory card is connected to an input/output connection terminal 5, a connection plate 4a of the upper surface side of the card touches a test pin 7a set on the same side. At the same time, a connection plate 4b touches a test pin 7b on the rear surface side of the card respectively. While the plates 4a and 4b serve as a part of an external panel 2a of the upper surface side and an external panel 2b of the rear surface side respectively. Thus a conductive state is secured between both plates 4a and 4b as long as the electrical connection is secured between both panels 2a and 2b via a conductive spring 3. While no conductive state is secured between both plates 4a and 4b as long as no electrical connection is secured between both panels 2a and 2b via the spring 3. Thus it is possible to check the electrical connection state between both panels 2a and 2b by measuring the conductive state between both pins 7a and 7b via a tester 8.
