Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a temperature affecting a non-volatile memory from rising without reducing a response performance of host access processing accompanied by an access command from a host system.SOLUTION: A memory controller is configured to execute maintenance processing of a non-volatile memory separately from host access processing, but when a detection temperature serving as a temperature detected by a temperature sensor exceeds a threshold, if there is no communication with a host system, the memory controller is configured to transit to a sleep mode allowing an operation clock of the memory controller to be suspended without execution of the maintenance processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
