To provide a mesh cloth comprising sheath/core conjugate fibers each with a melt-anisotropic polyester as the core component, with its sheath component having sea-island structure, wherein sheath splitting does not occur in the warps at the intersections of the cloth.
The mesh cloth for screen gauze is provided, comprising sheath/core conjugate fibers each with a melt-anisotropic polyester as the core component, with its sheath component having sea-island structure. In this mesh cloth, the following relationship is met: X{(1-Y0.5)/2}[-2arccos{2X(Z/25,400)}]5, wherein (1-Y0.5)/2 is the ratio of sheath width; [-2arccos{2X(Z/25,400)}] is the angle of the bent part of the mesh cloth, wherein 0arccos{2X(Z/25,400)}/2. In this relationship, X(m) is the diameter of the sheath/core conjugate fiber; Y is the ratio of the core component; and Z is mesh density (counts/inch).
