Abstract:
PURPOSE: To immediately display an error occurring to an OS which does not occupy a terminal device (KB/CRT), as a message.
CONSTITUTION: Respective OS1 and OS2 are equipped with KB/CRT control programs 12 and 21 which control a KB/CRT 5, a memory area 31 which can be read and written by both the OS1 and OS2, and firmware 3 which issues a command to the control program of the OS occupying the KB/CRT 5 when there is a message in the memory area 31. Consequently, the OS which occupies the KB/CRT 5 can displays the message on the KB/CRT 5 without performing exclusive control.
