PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit each message surely by preventing unacceptance of message when messages are stored at a plurality of service centers in message service.
SOLUTION: The message service system comprises service centers (111, 112), means 121 for managing information indicative at least of the address of a stored message and information indicative of a service center for storing the message, and a transmission/reception control means 151 for designating the service centers (111, 112) to transmit a message to a destination at a specified timing wherein the transmission/reception control means 151 designates the service centers (111, 112) to transmit a next message upon receiving an acknowledgement therefrom.
