Abstract:
To provide metal-containing CHA type zeolite that has excellent nitrogen oxide reducing characteristics, and is different from existing zeolite, and a method for producing the zeolite.SOLUTION: Provided is metal-containing CHA type zeolite in which a maximum intensity ratio of an absorption peak in a range of 3,685 cm-1 or more and 3,750 cm-1 or less to the maximum intensity of an absorption peak in a range of 1,800 cm-1 or more and 1,930 cm-1 or less in IR spectrum is less than 1.5. It is preferable that the metal-containing CHA type zeolite be obtained by a production method having a metal-containing process of mixing a metal source and CHA type zeolite in which an intensity ratio of an absorption peak in a range of 3,665 cm-1 or more and 3,750 cm-1 or less to the absorption peak in the range of 1,800 cm-1 or more and 1,930 cm-1 or less in the IR spectrum is less than 1.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
