PURPOSE: To provide a metal die separator which can separate easily metal dice fixed to the frame by means of an oil pressure cylinder without any injury occurring.

CONSTITUTION: A first and second metal die 1, 2 is fixed respectively to each of the mounting plates 3, 4 and one of the plate 4 is in turn fixed to the base frame 10. A plurality of through holes are pierced in the metal die 2 and the same number of projecting shafts 9 are planted on the extruding plate 8 for engaging with the through holes 7. The extruding plate 8 is connected to the oil pressure source pump B through an oil pressure cylinder 11 for pushing up the metal die 1 to part from the metal die 2. It is also possible to slide both of the metal dice 1, 2 at the same time so as to separate them in the plane parallel to the parting line P.
