PURPOSE: To form a welded section with no crevice and to prevent crevice corrosion, etc., by inserting the stepped section of one side of the barrel end section, bottom plate, or outer peripheral end part of the shoulder section of a metallic bottomed container on the stepped section of the other side formed on the end section or inner surface over the entire circumference of the other side and fitting the bottom plate or shoulder section after welding the inserted sections to each other.
CONSTITUTION: An inner container 1 is composed of a barrel 4 and bottom plate 5 and the bottom plate 5 is welded to the bottom plate 5 by its outer peripheral end section after the outer peripheral end section is inserted on a stepped section 6 formed on the inner surface of the lower end section of the barrel 4 over the entire circumference. When the bottom plate 5 is fitted to the barrel 4 in such way, no crevice is formed between the stepped section 6 of the barrel 4 and end section of the bottom plate 5 and the inner surface of the welded section is smooth. Therefore, occurrence of crevice corrosion, etc., can be prevented from the welded section even when hot water is put in the inner container 1.
