Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the quality of coating at the time of applying a metallic paint in two stages with a bell-shaped coating gun by excellently orienting an instar pigment.
CONSTITUTION: When a metallic paint is applied in two stages with a bell- shaped coating gun, the discharge of paint, shaping air pressure, coating speed, etc., are kept almost at the same in the first and second stages, the peripheral speed of the bell is controlled to 39-65m/sec (15,000-25,000 revolutions when the diameter is 50mth) in the first stage, the circumferential speed of the bell is controlled to 21-39m/sec (8,000-15,000 revolutions when the diameter is 50mm) in the second stage, and the decrement of the deposition NV value is controlled to ≥3%.
