Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly suppress higher harmonics by generating a harmonic current near an order to be compensated from an active filter(AF), by measuring a bus current at that time for determining the expansion rate of the order to be compensated of an AF installation system and the amount of phase change in advance, and by setting the amount of the generation of a compensation current by a specific expression.
SOLUTION: In the formula, n is the order to be compensated, Ian is the compensation current for the n-th order, Isn=&verbar Isn&verbar .sin(2πf0.n+&phiv on) is the current obtained by subtracting Ian from the n-th order bus current, kn is the expansion rate of the n-th order, and &phiv n is the amount of the phase change of the n-th order. To avoid the confusion with an actual order to be compensated, an order near the order to be compensated such as fifth or fourth order is regarded as the order to be compensated such as the fifth order, and a harmonic current 1b near the order to be compensated is artificially generated from an AF3 for injecting to a system bus 1. By using measured expansion rate kn and the amount of phase change &phiv n for each order, and anticipating the degree of change according to the formula, the amount of the generation of the warrant current Ian is set for properly canceling a harmonic constituent 11h of a load current IL for compensating.
