Abstract:
To provide a method for analyzing a glycoprotein in a simple manner.
The method for analyzing a glycoprotein includes the steps of: decomposing the glycoprotein to produce peptide fragments; allowing the resultant peptide fragments to pass through a cellulose membrane to separate the glycopeptide fragments from each other; subjecting the separated glycopeptide fragments to a reverse-phase chromatography to obtain the glycopeptide fragments separately; and determining the amino acid sequence of each of the glycopeptide fragments.
