PURPOSE: To analyze a very small amount of solid constituent easily by a photo- acoustic spectroscopic method, by forming a sample cell by fitting a connecting part in which a light incoming window glass is fixed at a sample collecting surface side of a filter of a lurehub in which a filter is built-in.
CONSTITUTION: After a filter 13 side of a lurehub is fitted at the outlet of an injection tube, a sample liquid is conducted to a lurehub 11 and collcted on the filter 13 and is subjected to a dyeing and refining treatment. A connecting part 9 in which a light incoming window glass 8 is fixed, is fitted to a sample collecting surface side of the filter 13 of the lurehub 11 having this solid constituent 10 and is fitted to a detecting part through a needle 12. When the light generated from a light source 1 is conducted to the windwo glass 8 through a rotating sector mirror 3 and mirrors 4,4', heat is generated in the solid constituent 10 and the air layer part which is brought into contact with the upper surface of the filter 13 is expanded periodically. This periodical expansion reaches a microphone 16 via the filter 13, and a photo-acoustic spectroscopic effect of the solid constituent 10 is measured by detecting its output in synchronization with intermission of the light.
