Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make easier to reuse a multi-purpose bottle and to make the easier disposal process of a container, generally speaking, a labeled container, and to attain the more economical application method for a easy-to-removal label.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus to apply a label, especially a peripheral label, to a container, providing a rotating container support with a rotatable container holder and a label applicator unit by its side, has a water applicator 28 which works with a cooperation of a rotation of the container holder 14 of the container support 2 and a transfer rail of the container 4. Thereby an additional adhesive or a special adhesive is not needed at the time of applications of labels, and more reliable adhesions are attained without using a solvent to give an adhesive power when plastic labels are used. And labels are able to remove cleanly.
