To provide a method and apparatus for automatically supplying a strip-like material capable of avoiding the step replacing work of the strip-like material corresponding to the kind of a tire, enabling multikind parallel production and capable of enhancing workability and productivity.
In the automatic supply device, plural kinds of strip-like materials Wa and Wb wound in a roll form are placed on a movable cassette truck 2 so as to be capable of being wound out and, above the cassette truck 2, one supplying and bonding conveyor 5 comprising the feed conveyors 4a, 4b provided on a stand 3 in plural rows and reciprocally moving the material feed-out positions S1, S2 of the feed conveyors 4a, 4b and successively supplying the strip-like material Wa or Wb cut into a constant length at a supply constant position S1 to a molding drum 1 and the cutting device 6 such as an ultrasonic cutter or the like arranged between the feed conveyors 4a, 4b and the supplying and bonding conveyor 5 to cut the strip-like material Wa or Wb fed out of the feed conveyors into a constant length are provided.
