To solve problems in generating 1000 ppm carbonated spring, which is considered to be effective, in hot water at about 40°C, suitable for bathing, wherein only a small impact may release a large quantity of carbon dioxide in hot water as bubbles in the air, which is not only an economic problem but which may poison a bathing person with carbon dioxide.
Water in a bathtub or foot bathtub is sprayed/fed to a pressure vessel 12 filled with carbon dioxide with pressure by a pump 3 and carbon dioxide is efficiently dissolved in water to generate carbonated spring, which is returned to the bathtub or foot bathtub. In this process of circulation, the high-pressure carbonated spring discharged from the pressure vessel is gradually decompressed by a decompression mechanism without drastic change of the area of the cross section, or a decompression mechanism 27 made of a porous member, so that the carbonated spring can be protected against the impact and more than necessary vaporization of carbon dioxide is prevented. Furthermore, the decompression mechanism is provided in a supply port (outlet) of the carbonated spring into the bathtub in such a way that the decompression mechanism can be easily attached/detached, so that the decompression mechanism 27 can be easily cleaned and replaced.
