This method for hot-caliber-rolling the bar steel is a method for hot-rolling by the calibers by which a rolled stock 2 is hot-rolled by rolling with square-caliber rolling rolls 9 after rolling with diamond-caliber rolling rolls 9 and a lubricant 15 is supplied to the rolled stock 2 on the upstream side of the inlet side of the square-caliber rolling rolls 9. Furthermore, preferably, it is better to measure the angle θ of twist of the rolled stock 2 on the outlet side of the diamond-caliber rolling rolls 9, to adjust the feed rate of the lubricant 15 on the basis of the measured angle θ of twist and to feed the lubricant 15 when the angle θ of twist is ≥ 3°.
