Abstract:
To provide a method of improving a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) function in a wireless communications system.
The method according to the present invention includes the steps of: receiving retransmission data in a HARQ procedure; determining a decoding result of data stored in a first soft buffer; combining the retransmission data with data stored in a first soft buffer for generating combined data when the decoding result indicates a failure; and performing a decoding procedure on the combined data and a storage procedure corresponding to a second soft buffer, wherein the first soft buffer is obtained by a first predetermined rule and the second soft buffer is obtained by a second predetermined rule.
