Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect the accuracy of a survey equipment easily and highly accurately on a surface plate, by setting the survey equipment between a light generation device and a reflecting mirror of an inspecting apparatus and inspecting the accuracy from a real image and a virtual image of cross hairs of the survey equipment.
SOLUTION: A light beam from a light bulb 3a of a light generation device 3 is reflected at a half mirror 3b and runs straight to a mirror 9 of a reflecting mirror 2. A survey equipment 16 is set between the light generation device 3 and the reflecting mirror 2 having optical axes agreed with each other. A virtual image passing cross hairs 16a inside the survey equipment and returning to the light generator 3 after being reflected at the mirror 9, and a real image returning directly to the light generation device 3 after reflected at the cross hairs 16a are observed by the eye 17 of a measuring person. A shielding part is set in the light generation device 3 so as to prevent an external light from entering the middle of an inspection optical path. If the real image 18 and virtual image 19 of the cross hairs 16a agree with each other, a collimation line of the survey equipment 16 is horizontal. Unless the images agree with each other, the collimation line is not horizontal. Moreover, errors are observed twice an actual level by the mirror 9.
