Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the thickness of a stretching rod, to improve its strength, to increase the blowing amount of cooling air, to effectively fix a mandrel engaged with preform to a blowing mold, and to enhance the productivity of a plastic bottle.
CONSTITUTION: The outer peripheral side of the neck 21 of a polyester preform 12 is held by a mandrel having a cylindrical holding part 31 for holding the outer peripheral side of the neck 21, set to a blowing mold, blow molded and heat treated, then the center of a mandrel 13 is inserted, and the air is blown from the end of a stretching rod 17 inserted into a molded plastic bottle to cool the bottle.
