To provide an annular member manufacturing method for molding a seamless annular member on the outer peripheral surface of an annular molding support ring to enhance the quality of a tire, and a manufacturing apparatus therefor.
This annular member manufacturing apparatus is constituted of a plurality of rotary drive rollers 2 for rotationally driving the annular molding support ring 1 formed into an annular shape and a pair of rotationally driven truncated cone-shaped molding rolls 3a and 3b different in size and parallelly arranged so as to approach the rotary locus of the annular molding support ring 1. A plurality of the rotary driven rollers 2 can be expanded and contracted with respect to the center O of rotation of the annular molding support ring 1 by an expansion and contraction mechanism such as a cylinder or link mechanism or the like not shown by Fig. and can be rotated at a predetermined rotational speed by a drive motor not shown by Fig. to rotate the annular molding support ring 1 at a predetermined rotational speed while holding the inner surface of the annular molding support ring 1.
