Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect carried-in flow with high accuracy without any delay in measurement by sampling the torque or load current of a motor for driving a conveyer every sampling time so as to calculate the carried-in flow.
CONSTITUTION: The rotational speed of a conveyer motor 6 is detected by a rotational speed detector 7 and the speed of a conveying body 4 is set to a fixed value U by the rotational speed kept constant by a control circuit 8. Also, assuming that a distance between a carried-in and carried-out positions is L and K is a constant, sampling interval Δt0=L/K.U) is set. A loading amount corresponding to the torque or load current of the motor for driving the conveyer is detected every time Δt0. Assuming that an amount of load mounted on the conveyer at initial Δt0 time is ΔQ0, a load amount after time (K+1).Δt0 is Q1 and a load amount after time K.Δt0 is Q0, carried-in amount ΔQi at the time Δt0 is obtained as ΔQi=Q1-Q0+ΔQ0 and the carried-in flow Q1 can be obtained as Qi+ΔQi/Δt0.
