PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of continuously arranging parts of the prescribed quantity to a carrying medium to carry a plurality of parts in each space without bringing the parts into contact with each other, vibrating the medium on which the parts are arranged in order to advance the medium along the prescribed path extended between two points, and move the medium and the parts between the two points, and achieving the surface finish during the carriage between the two points.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus and a method to provide the surface finish to parts are disclosed. Various kinds of structures and details are developed, and the applicability of the apparatus and the method to be used in an automatic equipment to adopt a flow production for treating the parts, are increased. In a particular embodiment, the parts are arranged in a finishing medium of the prescribed quantity to be separated from each other. The finishing medium is vibrated when the medium is moved along the surface by a helical blade from one position to another position. In another embodiment, a medium vibrating means vibrates the surface to vibrate the medium. This system is applicable to any apparatus capable of providing the vibrational energy to the surface.
