Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method and a device for preparing a polymer foam material. The device includes: a saturation unit for saturating polymer particles in a physical foaming agent; a foaming unit for foaming the polymer particles saturated in the saturation unit; and a feeding unit for transferring the polymer particles to the saturation unit, wherein the feeding unit, the saturation unit and the foaming unit are sequentially and coaxially connected, the feeding unit is connected to the saturation unit via a first valve, and the saturation unit is connected to the foaming unit via a third valve. By means of the method and the device for preparing a polymer foaming material, energy consumption is reduced, foaming process procedures are simplified, the production cost is reduced, the time for foaming is shortened, and pore size uniformity of obtained foaming beads is improved.
