To provide an efficient and economical method for producing a transcription seal for shading by which elongation, deformation and the like are controlled without spoiling strengths of a polymerization material itself for the transcription seal, accurate cutting operation can be carried out without being nervous for accuracy of positioning, production of false products caused by position deviation and the like is prevented and cost can be reduced owing to suitability to automatization and mass production, simple and accurate production and enhancement of production speed.

The method is to form a polymerization material for the transcription seal, continuously form a partial cutting line from the side of a stripping tape 3, remove needless portion on the side of one surface, polymerize a second base tape 4 to be strippable on the side of the one surface after removal, continuously form a partial cutting line from the side of a first base tape 1 to complete a desired cutting line on a shading tape 2, remove the needless portion on the side of the other surface, and produce the seal so that the shading tape 2 having a desired shape and the first base tape 1 are arranged on the surface of the second base tape 4 to be strippable in two or more rows.
