Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for producing urea-free water that can be used when analyzing urea in sample water and can efficiently produce urea-free water in which urea concentration has been reduced to the extent that it does not affect an analysis at least.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing urea-free water, including: a treatment step of obtaining treated water 1 containing urease and decomposing urea by adding urease 3 to urea-containing water 2; and a separation step of obtaining urea-free water 5 from which urease has been removed by passing the treated water 1 through a separation membrane 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
