A method for treating the mud water comprises a seaweed paste liquid injection process for injecting a seaweed paste liquid into the mud water, a seaweed paste liquid mixing process for agitating the mud water through the seaweed paste liquid injection process, a calcium compound aqueous solution injection process for injecting a calcium compound aqueous solution into the mud water through the seaweed paste liquid mixing process, a calcium compound aqueous solution mixing process for agitating the mud water through the calcium compound aqueous solution injection process, a mud water settling process for settling the mud water through the calcium compound aqueous solution mixing process, and a separation process for separating a supernatant liquid and a deposit separated in the mud water settling process.
