PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of slipping off and disconnection of the leading edge of the winding, breaking of wire, or fusing of the same, by winding the wire body around a bobbin drum in a normal winding state by a timer control means at a low speed operation, thereafter, performing a full load operation.
CONSTITUTION: The wire body from a feeding device 2 is wound around a fixed and movable pulleys 5 and 6 in a dancer stand 7. Thereafter the leading edge part of the wire body is fixed to the bobbin 3 of the winding device 4. At this time, the movable pulley 6 is located at the most separated stationary position 6', and the full load operation is blocked by a limit switch device 9. Then, the winding device 4 is rotated for a time period specified by a timer 8 at a low speed, and the winding is performed under the normal winding state. Control is performed so that the full load operation can be performed by a limit switch device 9. At this time, the full load operation is blocked by the limit switch device 9 when the movable pulley 6 is located at position 6' and full load operation is performed when the movable pulley is moved to approach the fixed pulley 5. Thus the slipping off and the like due to the excessive tension at the starting is prevented.
