To surely transfer, process or inspect various kinds of even thin samples by transferring the thin samples fixed on a barrier by a rotary transmitting body in a flat state.
Rollers or sprockets 109-116 are provided as a rotary transmitting body (transfer mechanism) to apply a transmitting force to a section part of a thin sample fixed on a tape 127. The thin sample is transferred so that it is flat at points where the thin sample is in touch with the rollers or sprockets 109-116. The thin sample is guided by the rollers or sprockets 109-116 through a container 103 containing a dying reagent, a container 106 containing a cleaning liquid, an application roller 119 for applying the dying reagent and through the front of a jet nozzle 123 for jetting the dying reagent and a jet nozzle 124 for jetting the cleaning liquid, and sent out from the roller or sprocket 116.
