Title:
METHOD FOR APPLYING JAPANESE LACQUER ON SURFACE OF GLASS AND POTTERY BY HARDENING AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009183903
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for applying Japanese lacquer having high adhesion with high durability on the surface of glass and pottery without impairing the texture in appearance by hardening it at a normal temperature, so that such problems are solved that when the Japanese lacquer is hardened at the normal temperature, no adhesiveness is caused on the glass and pottery, thereby baking coating has been performed to stick the Japanese lacquer to a base material conventionally, however, when the Japanese lacquer is baked and hardened, the glossiness and reflectance of a coating rises, thereby the graceful appearance of the coating which the Japanese lacquer has is spoiled.

An isocyanate-based silane coupling agent is mixed with Japanese lacquer to paint, thereby applying strong adhesion to the base material by hardening it at a normal temperature in the normal hardening atmosphere of the Japanese lacquer without applying a special treatment on the surface of the glass and the pottery and without applying baking coating of the Japanese lacquer thereon. Therefore, coating of the Japanese lacquer without impairing the texture in the appearance and the texture of moist which the Japanese lacquer has can be performed.
