Abstract:
To obtain a method for assembling an optical shutter array comprising an array of a plurality of chips having a light transmitting part (optical shutter) in which a high quality image can be obtained by eliminating unevenness in the shadow of the image.
The method for assembling an optical shutter array by arranging an array of optical shutter chips of PLZT comprises a step for measuring the mean value of ON light quantity of a plurality of elements at the left and right end parts and the ON light quantity distribution profile of each chip, and a step for arranging respective chips based on the light quantity data such that a gentle ON light quantity distribution profile can be attained for the entire array.
