To provide a method of attaching a bracket for a laundry pole on a wall surface easily and securely at low cost.

A method of attaching a bracket comprises the steps of: opening base holes 17,18 for attachment and base holes 19,20 for inserting screws on a wall surface where a hollow part exists between a substrate material and an external wall material; chamfering the base holes 19,20 for inserting screws; filling a sealing material into all base holes; fastening upper three base hole windows 25 for inserting screws with three screws 12 and lower three base hole windows 26 for inserting screws with three screws 13, so that screw heads are flush against the wall; aligning attachment holes 6,7, which are made in upper and lower portion of an attachment base 2, with the base holes 17,18 of the wall surface; and fastening the base with attachment screws 10,11, thereby finishing the attachment of a bracket 1 for a laundry pole.
