Abstract:
PURPOSE: To integrally form master and secondary pipes by blow molding without requiring a process forming a bellows part to the secondary pipe and a thermal welding process after blow molding.
CONSTITUTION: Master and secondary cavities 9, 10 are set to a mutually independent state before parisons 4, 6 are supplied into a blow mold 39. After the parisons 4,6 are allowed to pierce through both cavities 9, l0, both cavities 9, 10 are allowed to partially communicate with each other and the secondary cavity 10 is closed in the vicinity of the downstream part of the communication part 31. When air is blown in the parisons 4, 6 in this state to perform blow molding, a master pipe 3 and a secondary pipe 5 are respectively and independently molded in the master and secondary cavities 9, 10. Since the parisons 4, 6 partially enter the communication part 31, the master and secondary pipes 3, 5 are fused by said parisons 4, 6 and integrated through the side walls thereof and, since the secondary cavity 10 is closed in the vicinity of the downstream part of the communication part 31, the secondary pipe is molded in a form closed at the lower end thereof.
