PURPOSE: To restrict a bundle body without loosing it by spirally winding one or more of bands on the outer circumference of a lengthy bundle body in one direction, and spirally winding one or more of other bands on the outside thereof in the other direction.

CONSTITUTION: Around an unrestricted lengthy bundle body 17, one or more of bands 6 consisting of elastic bodies are wound in one spiral direction at a pitch according to the longitudinal moving speed of the lengthy bundle body and the rotating speed of a rotating drum 3, and also around the outer circumferential part thereof, one or more of bands 6 consisting of elastic bodies are wound in the other spiral direction, whereby the lengthy bundle body is bundled. Against deformations such as bending, expansion and contraction, increase and decrease in diameter of the lengthy bundle body 17, the spirally wound bands 6 are expanded and contracted to fasten this body. Consequently, the lengthy bundle body 17 is never loosed.
