Title:
METHOD FOR CASTING NONFERROUS METAL ALLOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01215454
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture the casting improving not only the tensile strength and hardness but also elongation by casting the nonferrous metal alloy subjected to overheat melting by remelting it after its solidifying with rapid cooling by inputting it under water or in warm water.

CONSTITUTION: A nonferrous metal alloy is melted by overheating at the temp. higher about ≥200°C than its m.p. generally, this alloy is solidified by rapidly cooling by inputting it under water or in warm water and the rapid cooled solidified body of a spongelike fine powder aggregate is obtd. The nonferrous metal alloy made casting improving the mechanical property of tensile strength, hardness, elongation, etc., is obtd. by casting after melting this rapid cooling solidified body according to the ordinary method.
