Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely change the auxiliary valve for air valve with the simple operation without surrounding the periphery thereof with a sealing case or the like and without cutting off the fluid inside of the existing pipe.
SOLUTION: An auxiliary valve 4 is connected to a connection port 3 of an existing pipe 1, and in an air valve 2 connected to the auxiliary valve 4 through a connecting pipe 5, a divided T-shaped pipe 8 having a branch cylinder B is installed in the connecting pipe 5, and a hole drilling device 10 or a water- stop valve 14 is fitted to the branch cylinder B, and the inside of the connecting pipe 5 is sealed by this water-stop valve 14, and in this condition, a housing case, in which a sealing member 19 having an operating shaft 18 is housed, is connected to the top of the connecting pipe 5 through a working valve 16. The sealing member 19 is lowered from the housing case 17 and inserted into the connection port 3, since the connection port 3 is shielded by the sealing member 19 operated by the operating shaft 18, the auxiliary valve can be changed with a new auxiliary valve in relation to the existing pipe 1 with the simple operation without surrounding the periphery thereof with a sealing case or the like and without cutting off the fluid inside of the existing pipe 1.
