Abstract:

PURPOSE: To solve a problem wherein it is difficult to coat the whole surface of a spherical body to be coated at one time and it is also a problem to hold an undried spherical body to be coated as a damage is given to the coating face by holding the spherical body to be coated under floating condition and applying a coating on it.

CONSTITUTION: An air ejecting nozzle 2 consisting of an air path 2a and an apex part 2d where a recessed face muffle 2c covering a part of a spherical body 1 to be coated is formed at an air ejecting hole 2b as a center, is used. Coating is performed by holding the spherical body 1 to be coated under floating condition with air ejecting flow ejected from the air ejecting hole 2b while the recessed face muffle 2c faces downward.
