Abstract:
To provide a coating technique capable of markedly enhance abrasion resistance of substrate surfaces compared with previous one.
This coating method comprises forming a chromium-plated layer containing a chromium alloy on the substrate surface, and forming a DLC layer on the chromium-plated layer. The usable chromium alloy includes a chromium carbide alloy (Cr23C6).
