PURPOSE: To easily and closely connect a flat board in a short time, by forming a bent holding-in piece to the main body of a connecting fitting in one body, and by pressing the holding-in piece against the main body after inseting a flat board into a holding-in goove between the main body and the holding-in piece.
CONSTITUTION: A holding-in piece 3 is formed like a cantilever at the right or the left side of a connecting fitting 1, and a flat board holding-in goove 5 is formed between the holding-in piece 3 and the main body of a connecting fitting 4. A folding surface 6 of a flat board 2 to be connected is formed to be a stepped shape to form an apron face 8 and an inclined face 9, and, at the same time, a projection 10 is formed at the connecting part of a bottom surface 7 of the groove 5 and the inclined face 9. When the flat board 2 is inserted into the holding-in groove 5 and the connecting fittings 1 is pressed from the top and the bottom by means of a press, etc., the flat board 2 is bent according to the shape of the holding-in groove 5 and closely contacted to the connecting fittings 1. Therefore, the flat board 2 and the connecting fitting 1 are connected each other without having any unevenness between the upper surface of the flat board 2 and the upper surface 11 of the connecting fittings 1. When this mechanism is used, the flat board 2 is easily connected under a flat, L-shaped, of T-shaped condition.
