PURPOSE: To perform a smooth operation of energization and reduce a refrigerant sound as well as to eliminate a pressure difference between a higher pressure side and a low pressure side after a timing-up by a method wherein an outdoor temperature is detected after an operation of a compressor is stopped and a setting time of a re-energization prevention timer for the compressor is varied in response to the result of detection.
CONSTITUTION: Various setting conditions are inputted to a control part 7 and then stored in a memory 8. A detected value from a room temperature sensor 9 is inputted and compared with a set value and then a compressor 1 of a refrigerant circuit is controlled by a control circuit 10 in response to the result of comparison. In addition, the control part 7 is provided with a re-energization prevention timer 12 for the compressor 1 or an outdoor temperature sensor 13 or the like. When a detected value of the outdoor temperature sensor 13 is less than a set temperature, for example, a delay time of the re-energization prevention timer 12 is set to be long by a predetermined value. With such an arrangement, high pressure side refrigerant gas in the refrigerant circuit is flowed to the low pressure side to decrease a pressure difference between a suction side and a discharging side of the compressor 1 and thereby an energization of the compressor 1 is smoothly carried out.
