PURPOSE: To efficiently crush and force-feed garbage by automatically operating and stopping a garbage crushing and force-feeding device only by the opening and closing of a faucet for garbage.

CONSTITUTION: A garbage crusher 4 is operated by the opening detection signal of a water supply detecting means 13 for garbage with a specified lag in time behind the start of the water supply of the faucet 11 for garbage, and the crusher 4 is stopped by the closing detection signal of the faucet 11 with a specified lag in time behind the stop of the water supply of the faucet 11. Furthermore, the force feeder 5 is operated by the high-water-level detection signal of a water level detecting means 8, and the feeder 5 is stopped by the low-water-level detection signal. The operation and stop of the feeder 5 are repeated while water is supplied to garbage. Namely, the garbage crushing and force-feeding device 1 is automatically operated and stopped only by the opening and closing of the faucet 11, and the garbage is efficiently crushed and force-fed.
