Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable light to be guided to a prescribed area by arranging air lumps in a proper shape into the water and utilizing refraction, reflection, etc., caused on the border surfaces between the air lumps and water. CONSTITUTION:An air lump 2 in the concave lens shape is arranged into the sea water 1 almost in parallel to the sea water surface, an air lump 3 is arranged below it almost in parallel, and an air lump 4 is arranged below the air lump 3 slantingly to that the angle theta of incidence light on the surface is larger than a critical angle. Namely, when those air lumps 2-4 are dipped into the sea water 1, the air lump 2 in the concave lens shape and the air lump 3 operate as convex lenses in air. Consequently, the sunshine which enters the sea water 1 from above is converged when passing through the air lump 2 and air lump 3 and guided to the surface of the air lump 4 in a flat plate shape which is arranged below.
