Abstract:
To provide a method for decomposing an organochlorine compound such as PCB contained in soil, gravel or sludge to a safe level and satisfying the treatment standards of industrial waste using microorganisms.
In the decomposition treatment method for the organochlorine compound contained in soil, gravel or sludge, a bacterial cell concentrate prepared by concentrating a culture solution of microorganisms having the decomposition capacity of the organochlorine compound is added to and mixed with soil, gravel or sludge continuously or over a plurality of times to decompose the organochlorine compound.
