Abstract:

To provide a method for simply and efficiently removing phosphorus from a liquid food such as soy sauce without damaging flavor.

This method for decreasing phosphorus content of a liquid food comprises adding calcium hydroxide to the liquid food and removing produced calcium phosphate therefrom.
