Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of conveyance in an automatized warehouse by counting buckets, containing loads picked up by order, at an entrance of the plural number of concentrated zones and changing over the concentrated zone through operation of a scraper every predetermined number of the buckets.

CONSTITUTION: Loads carried on transshipping trucks 8 are checked at a picking zone 6 and labels are stuck to cases 9, while the last case 9 is put into a bucket for exclusive use to let it flow on a conveyor 10. A transshipping truck 8 returns to the home position of a load handling device 4. The buckets move on the conveyor 10 and are detected by means of a sensor 12 of the concentrated zone 11 to be counted, and, when the counted number reaches the one corresponding to the number of picking workmen 5, the scraper 13 is automatically changed over to the next line of shipping agent. At this time, a working code indicating light 14 of the picking zone 6 is also changed over to the next work cycle. Thus, wrong operation of conveyance is prevented and accurate conveyance and distribution are performed.
