Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting cancer comprising finding out a gene useful for detecting the cancer, in particular, malignant lymphoma and detecting the gene or an abnormality therein as a means.
The method for detecting the cancer detects the deficiency in a cancer repressor gene present on the long arm 25.1 of human chromosome 6. A DNA comprising the gene, a protein encoded with the DNA, an antibody recognizing the protein, a recombinant vector comprising the DNA, a transformant transformed with the recombinant vector and a reagent kit are provided.
