To provide a method for determining the presence or absence of integrated HPV with which the presence or absence of integrated HPV can be judged rapidly and easily with high accuracy.
The method for determining the presence or absence of integrated HPV is provided. The method comprises: obtaining a first sample comprising DNA derived from a cell of a subject; obtaining a second sample comprising the DNA treated with an enzyme which has exonuclease activity; obtaining a first information related to amount of HPV DNA in the first sample; obtaining a second information related to amount of HPV DNA in the second sample; and detecting integrated HPV DNA in the cell based on the first and second information.
