Abstract:
PURPOSE: To synchronously travel a snubber roll truck and a coil car to prevent the scratching of a strip coil by the traveling slippage between a snubber roll and the coil by setting the traveling resistance force of the snubber roll truck smaller than the frictional force between the snubber roll of the snubber roll truck and the coil.
CONSTITUTION: A shifting air cylinder and a hydraulic cylinder are driven in the state where a frictional force is worked between a strip coil C and a snubber roll 1. At this time, since the traveling resistance force of the snubber roll truck 4 or the driving force of the shifting air cylinder 3, namely, the traveling driving force of the snubber roll truck 4 is smaller than the frictional force between the strip coil C and the snubber roll 1, the strip coil C is carried out by the driving force of a coil car 10, and the snubber roll truck 4 follows the coil car 10 moved through the strip coil C. Therefore, the traveling slippage between the snubber roll 1 and the strip coil C and the scratch of the strip coil C are never caused.
