Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the optimum grinding speed under the multiple surface condition by setting multiple membership function and multiple fuzzy control regulations for specifying the relation between multiple surface condition quantity and the grinding speed previously, and setting the grinding speed on the basis of these detection values and/or set values.
CONSTITUTION: Grinding condition about a coating defect part to be input to a control device 14 as the coating defect data, the production information and a detection value of a sensor 17, namely, grinding time, height of a defect of a projecting defect part or depth of a defect of a recessed defect part, largeness, hardness of the film, and the pushing pressure of a magnet are set as fuzzy variable of the former matter, and the rotating number of an AC servo motor 16 is set as a fuzzy variable of the later matter. Membership functions are set at small (SA), a little small (SM), normal (MM), a little large (ML), large (LA) respectively to be housed in a grinding control program previously. Fuzzy control regulations are set in 16 ways.
