Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce shock noise caused when an electronic volume is switched in which the attenuation is switched by an analog switch.
CONSTITUTION: A low cut filter 2 at a pre-stage of an electronic volume 3 attenuates a low frequency component to reduce an input level. Thus, shock noise of the electronic volume 3 generated in proportion to the input level is reduced, a low boost circuit 4 at the post-stage amplifies the low frequency component to restore the level, then since the level of the shock noise remains small, the shock noise is reduced.
