Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING BAKING COLOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03144325
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To discriminate precisely a baking state of a substance to be heated, by detecting a reflected light from the substance by two light-sensing elements having peaks of spectral sensitivity at a wavelength of a red or infrared light and a wavelength different from the former and by obtaining an output ratio thereof. CONSTITUTION:Dough 2 is put in a heating device 1 and a heater 21 is driven. Then the dough 2 is heated and a scorched part is formed on the surface thereof. On the other side, a light is applied to the dough 2 from a light source 3 and a reflected light therefrom is sensed by light-sensing elements 4 and 6 which show peaks of spectral sensitivity at 600nm and 900nm respectively. A current ratio between outputs of these elements is computed by an arithmetic circuit. According to an experiment, the output current ratio increases gradually from a time point whereat a scorch color begins to appear on bread. Accordingly, the scorch color of the bread can be determined on the basis of the current ratio.
